Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) has introduced legislation whose sole purpose is to cease FEMA funding toward the Shelter and Services Program to illegal immigrants into the country and immediately redirect those funds to hurricane relief; particularly to assist the areas affected by Hurricane Helene. This is on the heels of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas claiming that FEMA had little money left to address hurricane relief and the Heritage Foundation Oversight report that shows the Biden-Harris administration has poured billions into this so-called “refugee resettlement.”
