I predicted some time ago that all the noises being made by Disney about becoming less obviously woke were just that…noise. It’s like the universities and schools that “drop” DEI while keeping all the staff. The name changed, but the policies remain the same.
As usual, I am prescient. Never, not once, have I ever been wrong.
Well, maybe I am not quite prescient or perfect, but I called this one all right. Star Wars is diving deeper into woke fantasy.
Fans had already gone in this direction, but Disney has decided to accept it into its official canon a transgender character in armor painted the color of the transgender flag (which apparently, in a galaxy far, far away and a long time ago, happens to reflect the one here and now).
