New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu said over the weekend that the Biden-Harris administration’s “Bidenomics” was coming back to bite Vice President Kamala Harris on the campaign trail.
Sununu made the remarks during a Sunday on ABC News’ “This Week,” after Martha Raddatz noted that voters overwhelmingly trust former President Donald Trump over Harris when it comes to the economy.
Raddatz then tried to spread fear about Trump’s proposal to increase tariffs on products from China for national security reasons.
“When it comes to the voter, where this election is going, no voter is voting on tariffs,” Sununu said. “It’s a very complex thing. When it comes to the economy, what that really means is, can I afford to bring my kids to McDonald’s? Can I afford to pay the rent?”
