A 26-year-old Christian man is making strong progress in his recovery after he was tragically shot in the head while preaching to passersby on a street corner in Glendale, Arizona.
Hans Schmidt was standing at the corner of a major intersection on November 15, telling people about a church service being held that evening, Fox 10 reported. At around 6:00 p.m., a person shot the street preacher before fleeing the scene. Schmidt, a military veteran and father of two young children — including a two-month-old baby — was rushed to hospital.
“In the blink of an eye our lives were changed,” Schmidt’s wife Zulya posted to Facebook on Thursday. “You are a living miracle. Every day I am amazed.”
“Seeing you hold our baby boy once again, waving at our baby girl. You have a long way to go, but God will carry us through,” she added, captioning photos of the family alongside…
