There are few more powerful examples of how disconnected from reality many liberals are than the fact that they are sympathetic to Antifa–it is “anti-fascist!”–and think that people who attend Turning Point USA events are the fascists.
No doubt, most liberals would say that the Antifa activists’ tactics do go too far, but that they are fighting on the side of good, while people who want to meet with Riley Gaines or some other gender-critical conservative are bad people who are inflicting their cruel ideology on helpless children and oppressed people.
