Jimmy Kimmel’s staff is not the only section of late night comedy that has fallen for alleged United Healthcare CEO murderer Luigi Mangione, CBS’s Taylor Tomlinson has too. On the 2025 debut of After Midnight on Monday, Tomlinson mused about whether it was possible to peer pressure President Joe Biden into pardoning Mangione.
Tomlinson began by covering news north of the border, where Justin Trudeau resigned as leader of the Liberal Party and announced his intention to resign as prime minister once a successor is chosen, “Speaking of meat, Justin Trudeau. Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, resigned today…His departure follows a number of political scandals, but I know the real reason Trudeau is leaving, it’s because a hotter, younger health advocate has entered the villa.”
