I wrote earlier about Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar’s gaslighting when it came to the protests, trying to blame others for “co-opting” the protests to give the police and public officials the ability to shut them down. That, of course, is nonsense and attempts to excuse the violence, antisemitism, and harassment of Jewish students. While she was excusing the antisemitism, she then claimed all they were doing was trying to stop the “genocide in Gaza” when there is no genocide in Gaza, when there is an attempt by Hamas to “genocide”…
