Since Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón was elected in 2020, crime has increased rather than decreased. You see, when Gascón was running for election, he never made any promises to be tough on crime, yet the voting public swallowed wholesale his Soros-enabled justice reform schtick. After being sworn into office on December 7, 2020, Gascón immediately trotted out his “Special Directives“: a laundry list of soft-on-crime social justice reforms engineered to be lenient on the criminal element. Essentially, he removed consequences for committing crimes, and the criminals have become frighteningly emboldened.
