Donald Trump’s youngest son, Barron, is stepping into politics for the first time as the 18-year-old was selected by the Florida Republican Party on Wednesday to be one of the state’s at-large delegates for the Republican National Convention, NBC News reported.
Barron, who will graduate from high school next week, joins his half-siblings Don Jr., Eric, Ivanka, and Tiffany in entering Republican politics. Don Jr., Eric, and the former president’s youngest daughter Tiffany will also be among the 41 RNC delegates from Florida, according to Fox News.
A Trump campaign official told ABC News that Barron is “on the delegation roster and … is very interested in our nation’s political process.”
