Do you remember the 1992 United States men’s Olympic basketball squad, known as the Dream Team because it had some of the greatest names in hoops all playing together — Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, and other stars — and won the gold by thrashing their opponents by an average of 44 points?
They truly earned their moniker, which makes it all the more surprising that President Joe Biden would try to claim he is part of his own Dream Team, this one consisting of the First Lady, himself, the Vice President, and her husband, Doug Emhoff. Considering the country is floundering under his leadership and his poll numbers are trending downward into the Mariana Trench level territory, this is an unbelievably out-of-touch move.
