Former President Joe Biden told reporters on Friday that he could “beat the hell outta both of them,” referencing CNN anchor Jake Tapper and journalist Alex Thompson, who co-authored a book detailing Biden’s cognitive decline and the corresponding White House cover-up.
“There’s also been a lot of discussion recently about your mental and physical capabilities while you were in office,” a reporter said to Biden at a public event in Delaware, according to RealClearPolitics.
“You can see that I’m mentally incompetent and I can’t walk, and I can beat the hell out of both of them,” Biden responded, seeming to reference the authors.
Though Tapper details Biden’s cognitive decline in his new book, the anchor has been strongly criticized by the Right for refusing to acknowledge Biden’s very apparent mental troubles during his presidency.
