It’s a sickness at this point with Joe Biden.
I get that when you pander as a politician, you want to relate to the people. But most politicians try to relate with at least one foot in reality. “I care about that issue you care about,” for example.
But we’ve seen Biden make up all kinds of things depending on who his audience might be. We’ve all heard the stories at this point. It’s become a joke about how he’s the first guy to occupy the Oval Office who was a truck-driving Jewish Puerto Rican civil rights activist. You can add a ton of other similar claims to those that also have no basis in fact. I wrote the other day how Twitter user Mazemore nailed Biden with his own words about having no Hispanic community in his neighborhood in 1987, which blew the doors off his 2022 claim about being raised in the Puerto Rican community.
