President Biden gave a speech at the White House on Monday. He denounced the ICC’s arrest warrants against Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.
Biden said that Israel is not committing genocide, which must have been refreshing for the audience to hear, given Biden’s aggressive pandering to Muslim Arab American voters in places like Dearborn, Michigan.
In the audience were the parents of Hersh Goldberg-Polin, an American being held hostage by Hamas in Gaza. Biden met with them at the White House. Hersh is one of five Americans still being held by Hamas. Hersh’s mother, Rachel, acknowledged Biden’s work to free the hostages but told him more has to be done.
When Biden delivered his speech, he acknowledged Hersh. The problem was that he spoke as though Hersh was in the audience. Then he had to correct himself.
