The Democrats are likely looking closely at President Joe Biden this week as he hosts the NATO summit in Washington, D.C., while they line up on either side of the question of having him step aside from the presidential race. If he messes up yet again, that may be all she wrote in terms of the decisions of the leaders.
But they would still have to get around Joe and his supporters who don’t want to quit him. They’d also have to explain how grabbing the nomination away from him, the guy who did receive the people’s primary votes, is not a “threat to democracy” when they’re trying to claim this election is all about “threats to democracy.”
But I can’t imagine they’re looking at his interactions so far this week and being encouraged by them.
