Bill Maher is issuing a stark warning to Democrats following their disastrous performance in the November elections, predicting they face extinction if they don’t adapt to the needs of American voters.
Maher made the comments during an interview with Fox 11 anchor Elex Michaelson for “The Issue Is.”
While noting that he supports increasing rights for allegedly marginalized people, the comedian suggested Democrats “don’t know when to stop.”
“That’s what the message of the electorate was, you know, that the Democrats are all for the oppressed, and what the electorate was saying was, ‘You know what’s oppressing me? The price of eggs. Okay? That’s what’s oppressing me,” Maher said.
