Billy Joel canceled all his upcoming concerts and revealed the heartbreaking news that he’s been diagnosed with the brain disorder, normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH).
In a post on social media, the 79-year-old legendary singer shared that all scheduled concert dates in the U.S. and U.K. from 2025 through June 2026 are canceled because his disorder has been “exacerbated by recent concert performances, leading to problems with hearing, vision and balance.” Refunds will be issued automatically.
“Under his doctor’s instructions, Billy is undergoing specific physical therapy and has been advised to refrain from performing during this recovery period,” the statement read. “Billy is thankful for the excellent care he is receiving and is fully committed to prioritizing his health.”
