Two weeks after he was last seen in Nashville, missing University of Missouri student Riley Strain’s body has been found in the Cumberland River.
Strain was last seen walking in the direction of the river, and his body was removed from the river around 7:30 a.m. on Friday, the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department announced on X.
“BREAKING: The body of Riley Strain was recovered from the Cumberland River in West Nashville this morning, approximately 8 miles from downtown,” the MNPD wrote. “No foul play-related trauma was observed. An autopsy is pending.”
