Can the GOP repeal the war on good credit?

As we previously discussed, in addition to the war on merit and the war on things that work, Joe Biden had used the power of the pen and the phone to launch a war on people with good credit.  Starting next week, the Federal Housing Authority will begin charging fees to mortgage holders with good credit to pay for subsidies to people who are less likely to actually pay back their loans. But the Republicans in the House of Representatives just released a new bill that would block Biden’s efforts to do this. One of the bill’s sponsors accused Biden of fostering a “culture of dependency” on the federal government while penalizing citizens who put in the effort to do the right thing. This is being viewed in the same way as Biden’s plans to “forgive” student loans while shifting the financial burden from the borrowers to the rest of the taxpayers. (Fox News)Read More
