Legendary guitarist Carlos Santana announced that he must postpone his upcoming 2025 residency in Las Vegas after he suffered a “hard fall” and broke his finger.
The residency — which was scheduled to kick off at the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino on January 22 — has been postponed after the 77-year-old guitarist suffered an “accidental fall” at his vacation home in Hawaii, a statement on his website from Michael Vrionis, President, Universal Tone Management, read.
“I am sorry to say that Carlos was out taking a walk at his vacation home in Kauai,” Vrionis said in the statement. “He took a hard fall, and he broke his little finger on his left hand. He had to have pins inserted in the finger.”
