The controversy over cats and geese being eaten by Haitian migrants in Springfield, OH isn’t going to be dying down anytime soon.
Both sides of the political aisle see an advantage to having the controversy continue: Democrats believe that Trump beclowned himself by spewing nonsense (or what appears to be nonsense to many) about people eating cats, and Republicans (at least MAGA Republicans) believe that the controversy has focused attention on how open borders have harmed the quality of life for ordinary Americans.
Into this controversy, the CBS Morning show (people watch this dreck?!) accidentally threw Donald Trump a bone: they did a sickly sweet story about a lonely goose and one woman’s successful efforts to find her a mate.
