As we reported on Thursday evening, Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) finally did get to see the illegal alien and alleged MS-13 gang member Kilmar Abrego Garcia, for whom he took his grandstanding tour to El Salvador to see and bring “home.” It was a bizarre set of optics.
But it was as a result of 4D chess move by El Salvador’s President Nayib Buklele, who decided that he could blow up the Democratic narrative showing Abrego Garcia was fine and get that damning picture of Van Hollen sipping drinks with him at the same time. Meanwhile, he definitely said he wasn’t letting Abrego Garcia out of custody. He also posted how he loved to play chess, if the point wasn’t clear enough.
Van Hollen and the Democrats didn’t consider how such a picture, with all the information that has now come out on Abrego Garcia, would play with Americans. Now they are going to own…
