CNN Republican commentator Scott Jennings panned the third night of the Democratic National Convention (DNC), saying during a panel discussion that over the course of five hours, none of the speakers had actually said anything of substance.
Jennings delivered his assessment of the evening during a roundtable discussion hosted by CNN anchor Anderson Cooper, and he argued that despite a slate of speakers including Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and Oprah Winfrey — and the evening ending with Minnesota Governor Tim Walz accepting the Democratic Party’s vice presidential nomination — nothing of any real value was said.
