Future educators are instructed in the work of “White Fragility” author Robin DiAngelo in over a dozen universities across the country, according to Parents Defending Education.
The revelation was included in a recent report from Parents Defending Education, a group focused on ridding ideology from education, that took a deep dive into education class syllabi from 67 universities across the 34 states. The report found that Critical Race Theory and anti-white rhetoric was deeply embedded into the coursework of America’s future educators.
In course description syllabi, Parents Defending Education found 54 references to Critical Race Theory, 28 references to critical theory, 18 references to “oppression” and/or “power,” 55 references to Paulo Freire and the “Pedagogy of the Oppressed,” 16 references to Robin DiAngelo, 34 references to “queer” or the tenets of queer…
