The Democrats wanted to sell us on the idea of “joy” at the DNC.
I’ll grant them that having someone who is a merely horrible candidate might make them more “joyful” than having one who also exhibits major cognitive decline. As long as they were willing to throw “democracy” under the bus in the process.
But perhaps the only real “joy” at the event was the comedians who were there doing great skits mocking the Democrats and how lacking in self-awareness the Dems were about it.
Comedian Alex Strenger gave a funny interview to the BBC as a member of the “white dudes for Harris.” He was a perfect parody of a Democrat.
