Right after America slides into its collective post-holiday hangover, the 119th Congress will be sworn in and get to work. The Republican majority will remain razor thin, but what has also been cut down in size is the gang of progressive Democrat members known as “The Squad.” Everyone’s favorite bartender, New York Dem Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a.k.a. AOC, will still be around to give Republicans endless hours of comedy gold, but because of a pesky thing called the will of the people, a couple will be packing up and heading home. One of those is Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO).
