Cory Booker Stops Ted Cruz’s AI Revenge Porn Bill That Would Protect Minors to Help Collin Allred – RedState

New Jersey Democrat Cory Booker has pulled a lot of awful stunts during his time in office, but this might be one of his lowest moments, and all in the name of complicating Texas Senator Ted Cruz’s path to reelection. 

Cruz introduced the “Take It Down Act,” which would criminalize pornographic AI-generated deepfakes of minors, often used as revenge porn. 

According to The Federalist, the bipartisan bill was just about to be voted on when Booker filed a last-minute objection. When asked why, he gave no reason. 

This doesn’t mean his real reason can’t be gleaned. As The Federalist notes, it’s highly suspected that Booker did this because he’s good friends with Rep. Collin Allred who is currently running against Cruz for his senate seat. This caused Ted Cruz to call Booker out:
