Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) slammed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, accusing the Ukrainian leader of “trying to interfere” in a U.S. election by attending an event with only Democrats in a critical swing state ahead of the 2024 presidential election.
Cruz’s remarks on his “Verdict” podcast with co-host Ben Ferguson come after Zelensky attacked Republican vice presidential candidate JD Vance in an interview with the New Yorker before he flew to Pennsylvania for an event at the Scranton Army Ammunition Plant with Governor Josh Shapiro (D), Senator Bob Casey (D-PA), and Congressman Matt Cartwright (D-PA).
