Actress and comedian Leslie Jones stopped by Comedy Central and The Daily Show on Thursday to deliver a monologue about how “[bleep] up” things are in America and how it is so obvious that even Europeans can see it.
One of the things that Jones was particularly upset with was gun rights, “Unfortunately, the rest of the world is aware of our culture of violence.”
She then played a series of YouTube videos where people went around asking Europeans what they thought of America. One woman said, “The gun situation kinda freaks me out.”
Another said, “There’s all these shootings going on,” while a third echoed the sentiment, “Guns, violence.” One man, through a translator, likewise said, “School shootings, many people with guns,” while two additional women, also through translators, declared, “Everyone can buy a weapon there”…
