Anger has been brewing at Democratic town hall events as the fractured party is fighting between those who are trying to navigate the new Trump administration calmly and those who want to see more action.
The Democratic National Committee (DNC) has been pushing the narrative that it is Republican voters who are showing outrage over Trump and DOGE Chief Elon Musk at these events.
“Republicans are taking heat from their constituents for not standing up against Donald Trump and Elon Musk’s destructive agenda in town halls in deep red districts in Georgia, Wisconsin, Alaska, and Oregon,” the DNC claimed in a statement last month.
They describe “angry crowds” and “frustrated constituents” at GOP-led events.
