Democratic strategist James Carville lived up to every part of his “Ragin’ Cajun” nickname, taking multiple swipes at Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) after an old video resurfaced of her disparaging white men as the leading cause of deaths in America.
The video of Omar shows her interviewing as a congressional candidate with Al Jazeera in 2018, in which she describes white men as a bigger terror threat than radical Islamists.
It also marks a cautionary tale for those who follow so-called influencers on social media. There is an ongoing trend in which they post old videos with little context, making them seem as if they are new when, in reality, the clips are not recent. This was one such case.
