In the aftermath of the contentious and ill-fated Oval Office meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and President Donald Trump on Friday, hardened battle lines were quickly drawn. By Monday, those battle lines solidified even more.
Simply put, it comes down to this:
One Side:
Zelensky is the reincarnation of Winston Churchill (an opinion once expressed by Trump National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, who, after Russia invaded Ukraine, called Zelensky the “21st Century Churchill“). Russian President Vladimir is more interested in strategically conquering land, as he has done throughout his presidency (dictatorship). Trump is Putin’s puppet, and he’s far more interested in kowtowing to Russia than saving Ukraine.
