Democrats in deep blue states are already drawing up plans to thwart President-elect Donald Trump’s attempts to fix illegal immigration in America.
The plan? Simply refusing to enforce the law, according to a New York Times report published on Saturday.
The Times notes that the resistance party is seeking to pivot away from silly protests involving “pink knit caps and homemade signs” and instead will “tune out” the new President when he enters the Oval Office.
“As they face this tough political landscape, Democratic officials, activists and ambitious politicians are seeking to build their second wave of opposition to Mr. Trump from the places that they still control: deep-blue states,” they write.
