A sitting president is running for re-election and because he has absolutely nothing good to run on, he and everyone around him are running a campaign of fear of his Republican opposition. Donald Trump, the former president, looks set to win the Republican nomination. The vast majority of American voters do not want another Biden versus Trump battle but that is what we are going to get. It’s the reality on the ground as the primary season gets underway.
