Deportations Hit 100,000 Under Trump

The Trump administration has carried out more than 100,000 deportations since Jan. 20, The New York Post first reported. In fulfillment of President Donald Trump’s pledge to arrest and remove illegal aliens, Immigration and Customs Enforcement has also made 113,000 arrests.  

“He’s doing what he was voted in to do. Point blank!” an ICE source told the Post.  

The latest numbers show a significant increase in recent arrests. In the first 50 days of the Trump administration, ICE made 32,809 enforcement arrests, 14,111 of whom were convicted criminals and 9,980 have pending criminal charges, according to the Department of Homeland Security.  

With arrests and deportations rising, Trump administrations officials say some illegal aliens are choosing to self-deport.
