Even as Los Angeles burns, the California legislature is holding a special session at the behest of Gov. Gavin Newsom to “Trump-proof” the state. This is among the many choices the Golden State’s “leadership” continues to make, and once again, it’s not about competence, the people, or the quality of life in the state—it’s about pushing a woke, leftist agenda.
As RedState’s Bonchie reported Monday, the elegantly coiffed governor and state lawmakers have agreed to allot $50 million toward fighting Trump’s expected policies, especially on immigration. No word yet on how that helps wildfire victims who have lost everything.
There’s a governor on the other side of the country, however, who shows actual leadership and a vision to improve his state; his name is Ron DeSantis, and he’s taking the exact opposite approach of Gavin:
