DAILY CALLER NEWS FOUNDATION—The Department of Justice told a federal judge on Monday that it does have transcripts of President Joe Biden’s discussions with his biographer from the classified documents probe into the president after saying last month that it did not.
The DOJ filed a court document in which it says that it found transcripts of taped conversations between Biden and biographer Mark Zwonitzer, with whom Biden shared classified information, as part of an ongoing Freedom of Information Act battle with The Heritage Foundation over access to materials from special counsel Robert Hur’s investigation of the president.
DOJ’s disclosure that it does have transcripts of Biden talking with Zwonitzer contradicts its June assertion in court that “we don’t have some transcript that’s been created by the special counsel” and comes the day after Biden…
