Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss is one of the figures at the center of the investigation into the attempts (or lack thereof) to prosecute Hunter Biden on a variety of charges including tax evasion and federal gun charges. He has told stories that conflict with both the Attorney General and various whistleblowers from both the IRS and the FBI who have come forward recently. As such, Congressman Jim Jordan has been trying to get him to come in and testify under oath before the House Judiciary Committee in a closed-door interview and to do so quickly. This week the Department of Justice sent a letter to Jordan offering to make Weiss available but said he would testify in a public hearing, and not until this fall. This is setting up yet another battle between the House GOP and the Department of Justice in Jordan’s battle to expose the corruption inside Biden Inc. and the weaponization and politicization of the DoJ and the intel community.
