Former second gentleman Doug Emhoff got some pretty brutal news from President Trump on Tuesday: You’re fired. Emhoff, along with a slew of other high-profile Democrats, was summarily dismissed from his role on the board that oversees the US Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC.
And Emhoff, who is Jewish, is not one bit pleased, accusing the president of playing politics with “Holocaust remembrance and education.” Here’s what Emhoff told one outlet after learning of his dismissal:
“Today, I was informed of my removal from the United States Holocaust Memorial Council. Let me be clear: Holocaust remembrance and education should never be politicized.
