President Joe Biden heading to Camp David for up to a week of preparations for his upcoming debate is not a show of confidence, Eric Trump argued on Sunday.
The son of former President Donald Trump spoke with Fox News host Maria Bartiromo on “Sunday Morning Futures” about expectations for the event.
“It’s pretty telling,” he said, “of a president who has to go to Camp David in the middle of the woods and lock himself effectively in a bunker” for so long.
Biden’s “policies are so bad that he has to figure out some way to polish them up and try and sugarcoat them” with his advisers, Eric Trump said.
Drawing a contrast, Eric Trump said his father takes debate prep “seriously” but “he’s doing what he does. He’s going all over the place campaigning.”
