If you’re old enough to remember when Bill Clinton was president, you would recall that he was a silver-tongued, energetic politician who could fire up his supporters and excite the Democrat base—that is, at least, until he met Monica Lewinsky.
There is little of that fire left in the two-term president, as he has for some time now seemed low-energy and not particularly passionate. On Sunday, however, he showed that he can still drop some all-time whoppers when the time is right.
Appearing on “CBS Sunday Morning,” the former president minimized the mental decline of Joe Biden and seemed to think it unimportant that the Democrats and the media perpetuated one of the all-time political hoaxes of our time by attempting to hide it from the public.
He seemed “on top” of things, Clinton said, somehow keeping a straight face. What planet is he living…
