An ex-police officer in Washington is on the run after he allegedly killed his ex-wife and teenage girlfriend before abducting his 1-year-old son.
The murders and abduction occurred on the day that 40-year-old Elias Huizar was due in court to face allegations that he raped a 16-year-old girl, the New York Post reported. An Amber alert has been issued for Huizar’s 1-year-old son, Roman.
The alert, published by the Tri-City Herald, suggests that Huizar may be fleeing to Mexico and states that Huizar is suspected of killing his ex-wife and girlfriend.
Huizar is accused of shooting his ex-wife Amber Rodriquez at the William Wiley Elementary School, where she is listed as a paraeducator, on Monday afternoon.
