Donald Trump’s former “fixer” Michael Cohen testified earlier this month in crusading Manhattan District Attorney’s laughable business records case against the former president, and by most accounts, his serial lying and rambling testimony were an absolute disaster for the prosecution.
Even before his testimony, many legal analysts were struggling with the basic question: exactly what crime is Bragg trying to pin on the former president?

A funny thing also went down in Washington D.C. on Wednesday: Michael Cohen’s own former lawyer Robert Costello appeared in front of the House Judiciary Committee’s Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Government and said that that pretty much everything Cohen testified to was utter hooey:
