On Tuesday, the San Francisco Board of Supervisors expressed “unanimous” support for the draft proposal presented by the Gavin Newsom-created Reparations Task Force, which recommends giving $5,000,000 to the Black residents of the city. San Francisco has around 50,000 Black residents, which is about six percent of the population.
