Extreme Caution urged of Border Patrol Along Mexico Border – HotAir

A major alert has gone out to Border Patrol agents working along the U.S.-Mexico border. They are being warned to use extreme caution as they go about their duties.

Along the Arizona/Mexico border, a gunfight broke out. It is believed to have been a battle between cartels for control of an open spot in the border wall. The Mexican military found 10 improvised explosive devices (IEDs) at the border, on the Mexican side of the border. A federal law-enforcement source shared an internal officer safety alert dated December 13 with FOX Business Network. It warns CBP agents to be vigilant.

The IEDs were found by Mexican authorities after Tucson border patrol observed gunshots at the U.S.-Mexico border and a Tucson supervisory border patrol agent arrested an armed person on the U.S. side who had a loaded AK-47 rifle, two loaded AK magazines, loose rounds, and a handgun.
