“Mission: Impossible” director Christopher McQuarrie revealed that a fan “almost had a heart attack” watching a scene from the upcoming final installment in the franchise.
Speaking to Empire Magazine, per Games Radar, the 56-year-old director told the outlet that at a recent screening for “Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning,” the action-packed excitement on the big screen proved to me almost too much for one of the movie-goers.
“We had a small screening, and someone said, ‘I was suffocating throughout the entire sequence. I almost had a heart attack,’” McQuarrie said. “And I thought, ‘I guess we did something right.’”
It has been the goal with each of the “M:I” films that the action gets more intense.
