The father of one of the slain Israeli Embassy staffers broke his silence about his daughter’s death, noting the irony of the relentless work she’d done to find peace between Israelis and Palestinians before being killed by the alleged suspect, who shouted “free, free Palestine” during his arrest.
The two Embassy staffers, Sarah Milgrim and her boyfriend Yaron Lischinsky, were shot and killed outside the Capitol Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday night. The alleged suspect, Elias Rodriguez, reportedly is a member of the “Party for Socialism and Liberation” in Chicago. When police arrived to arrest him, witnesses said he chanted “free, free Palestine.”
