As RedState noted earlier, rumors swirled Tuesday over the recently announced employment of former Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel at NBC News as a paid political analyst, with Puck News reporting that she had been fired and that “Execs are deliberating over details; announcement pending. Meanwhile, McDaniel is seeking legal representation.”

In an update on this story, NBC News has confirmed via a memo that McDaniel will no longer be joining the network on any of its platforms. In it, they cited the on-air revolt that has been taking place on many of their programs on both the MSNBC and NBC News sides:
