Federal law enforcement officials arrested 36-year-old Paul Hyon Kim, a resident of Las Vegas, this week on charges stemming from an attack on a Tesla shop.
Kim, who was arraigned in federal court on Thursday, was charged with one count of unlawful possession of an unregistered firearm and one count of arson, the DOJ said in a statement. He remains in federal custody.
“The Department of Justice has been clear: anyone who participates in the wave of domestic terrorism targeting Tesla properties will suffer severe legal consequences,” said Attorney General Pam Bondi. “We will continue to find, arrest, and prosecute these attackers until the lesson is learned.”
