The son of the man who is accused of trying to assassinate former President Donald Trump in Florida has been arrested by federal authorities on child porn charges.
The FBI discovered hundreds of files that contained child porn when they searched the residence of Oran Routh, son of Ryan Routh, on Saturday.
ABC News reported that the search was “in connection with an investigation unrelated to child exploitation” and that the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Carolina confirmed the raid was connected to his father.
The illicit material was discovered on two cellphones located at the property, including one on Routh and another found in a bedroom.
