Mother’s Day is drawing near, which means it’s time for your annual reminder that one of the most sacred words in the English language is under attack.
Everyone in the world has a mom. And the vast majority of us know what that word means. There may be thousands of ways to say “mom,” but the Left and the mainstream media are pushing for more “inclusive” language, up to and including turning Mother’s Day into “Gestational Parent Recognition Day.”
For example, Wisconsin’s Governor Tony Evers is proudly defending a proposal to change the term “mother” to “inseminated person” in state law. Because apparently, saying “mom” might offend someone who couldn’t pass a sixth-grade biology exam.
